This firearm does not have a manual safety.

no manual safety just leave the hammer forward (de-cocked) until you are ready to fire

Jan - no thumb safety or manual safety .. but it has the most important safety of all - an intelligent user. Nothing beats that.

Jan, it does not have a manual safety but it has half notches on the cylinder so the hammer/firing pin does not have to rest on a live round.

It does not have a manual safety, however it has "safety slots" in the cylinder which you set the hammer into. Here's a video from NAA showing you exactly how to carry it safely: youtube.com/watch?v=L8x0eeqXFbM
