  • Grady, NC is still a free non restricted state. This firearm is not a shotgun so there are no 'sawed off shotgun' regulations on this firearm or 'other'. Buy with confidence.

  • Grady, Yes Sir. The Grip and not Shoulder Stock makes it legal in all States except CA and MA. You can even purchase the Brace version of the Shockwave or TAC-14 :

  • Yes it is 100% legal in NC because the shockwave is not a shotgun it is just classified as a firearm "the Shockwave is classified by the ATF as a “firearm” and available to shooters without having to buy a tax stamp or fill out paperwork" I live in the OBX and there is no law prohibiting the shockwave or others like it but you must be 21 to purchase it from a FFL

  • Yes, the Shockwave is perfectly legal to purchase/own in the State of NC. You can lawfully possess or own the Mossberg 590 as it falls within the exception of N.C.G.S. § 14-288.8(b)(5) and its possession alone would not constitute a crime in the State of North Carolina.
