  • 12 Gage Ammunition & What to Buy

  • Considering my first shot gun, Mossberg 590 Nightstick, mainly for home security. But there are so many options, and I know as a handgun owner, that there are brands to stay away from... So many options to choose from, with little understanding of info listed and what to get?

  • This is were james and I don't agree I find these shotguns hard to shoot accurately. hard to operate (pump) and they will not do anything a full size defense shotgun will not do I recommend Please see if you can shoot a nightstick or shockwave before you buy

  • Jeffrey, the Mossberg 590 NightStick will likely be near the top of your list for home security. The Shockwave or 870 are all viable options. I would seriously look into the detachable magazine models for greater firepower and ease of tactical reloads.
