Smith & Wesson Model 629 Deluxe 3" 44mag Revolver
can the 629 handle Buffalo bore heavy 44 magnum ammo? Like the 305 or 340 grain?

it will be fine however the heavier the load the more wear on the gun it will cause

Rob, This S&W beauty will handle any 44 magnum load you can find. It will handle the 300+grain loads better then the shooter will.
