Ruger BX-15 15rd MAG .22 LR for 10/22 & Charger
will this fit my older (1970s) ruger 10/22 rifle ?
or is this only for the latest version 10/22s.

Dennis, this will fit without issue Sir. The Rotary Magazine external dimensions has not changed on the part that inserts into the rifle.
