Andrew, Yes you need to get a copy of you IL FOID card to BUDS to order ammo in IL. Fax copy to (800) 804-5569.

Customers must possess a valid Illinois FOID (Firearm Owner’s ID) card to purchase firearms or ammunition anywherein Illinois.Alternately, persons possessing a valid Illinois Concealed Carry License may present their valid license in lieu of the FOID card. yes you will need to send a copy to buds budsgunshop.com/feeds/state_reg/illinois_restrictions.pdf FOID cards are sent to the same place as FFL dealer information (ffl@budsgunshop.com / Fax 800 804 5569)
