Terrell, Yes this optic will work fine. Ant decent 3x9 optic is the general recommendation for the .223 round chambered rifle.

that would depend on which TC 223 you are asking about. It will be fine on the 223 rifles but if you have a TC 223 handgun it does not have enough eye relief
