  • No, 38sp +p is still a lower pressure round than the .357, so it would not be safe to fire that in this revolver. In addition to that, the cylinder is made to use 38sp, not the longer .357 which would most likely be too long to fit properly.

  • Joe, no Sir. The 357 Magnum shell is too long to chamber in a 38 Special revolver. However, you can fire 38 Special out of a 357 Magnum revolver.

  • No, .357 is much more powerful and not safe to fire in a .38 Special revolver. The other way around works however, .357 revolvers can easily handle .38 Special pressure levels.
