What is the best 22LR ammo overall for self defense to avoid the jams or other failures in a Ruger SR22? What should I avoid so the gun isnt fussy; I do keep a spotless gun by the way. Thanks in advance everyone.

I've heard a lot of good things about Remington Golden Bullet with the SR22. CCI also works pretty well and is fairly clean firing. 22lr isn't an ideal round for self defense, but you should definitely go with a hollow point to maximize effectiveness against larger targets.
