Terry, most cases have 2 to 3 inches of less internal dimension space/size than the stated external dimension size. Just measure your rifle with everything attached you want to fit and then seek a case with at least a 2 inch buffer internally for a comfortable fit. Cheers and stay safe!

Terry, I know this sounds silly, and may sound counter intuitive because of the shape of the case. But this had worked for me with a scoped sporting rifle with a fore grip on it. Don't worry about banging up the scope. Put your rifle in the bag scope down and magazine well and fore grip up. I like the Bulldog brand cases for my sporting rifles. This is the same bag I thought I linked to last time and I double checked the height on this bag is 16" and length ranges from 42" to 52" if that's not what your looking for then I'm not sure.
