Most manufacturers including Glock make firearm packages that have 10rd magazines so their pistols can also be sold in states that have magazine capacity restrictions. The pistols are exactly the same but just have 10rd mags included. The pistols will also accept any standard capacity magazines just fine.

YES! 17rd Glock 17 magazine will fit and work perfectly in this. In matter of fact, G34 is usually ship with 17rd Glock 17 magazine. However, since this is 10rd state restriction version, it comes with 10rd mag instead. I hope this helps!
