  • I have a Burris AR-536 on my AR-15. If the batteries die I can still use the scope. Will this scope work if the batteries die?

  • James, yes Sir. The iluminated (color reticle's) use battery power. When no batteries or dead batteries, the reticle is just a standard non iluminated black. Cheers and stay safe!

  • Yes to both. The scope does work without batteries. Batteries are only used for the Red and Green reticle , when turned on.

  • This optic has an "Etched reticle" yes it'll still be visible if the batteries die or the electronics fail

  • YES, the scope still works fine without the battery. It just will lose the green/red illumination dot in the middle. The crosshair will be there. I hope this helps!
