Colt's MSRP on the 6" Python is showing $1499. Why is Bud's listing for $1999? Is Buds cost higher or are they charging a premium due to demand?

YES, Buds raised prices due to demand (the distributor probably did it too). But the current market price on G(un)B(broker) is actually the same if not higher than Buds.

Distributors have raised their prices to dealers which means dealers like Bud's has to raise their prices, and I'm sure due to demand they've raised the price as well.
