So I bought that drum and it's a little tight going in and really hard to get out I haven't shot it yet and I'm wondering if it will be easier after some use. I've put a little gun oil on it but it really didn't help any or is there anything else I can do. Thanks for the help!

  • Gilbert, yes Sir it will get looser but will take some time. You can speed things up by using white or a a light colored chalk to color the magazine well, insert and remove the drum. The points of friction will be clearly visible and smooth with fine grit sand paper. Repeat until you get the desired insert/release effort. I have done this technique to custom fit drums as there are variances in magazine well tolerances. This is how Tooth and Nail fits this drum to various shotguns : toothandnailarmory.com/product/20rdDrum.html
