  • Nick, yes Sir, Rock Island Armory says - Yes all of our guns are +p ammo ready, but please use only when necessary. (If shooting lots of +P I highly recommend acquiring a higher lb recoil spring to mitigate recoil and lessen frame battering. -- RIA FAQ's here : Yes all of our guns are +p ammo ready, but please use only when necessary.

  • yes however it will cause faster wear and you should change recoil springs sooner when shooting heavy loads

  • Yes it will have no problem shooting any +p ammo. Most manufacturer will tell you to only shoot +p once in awhile cause it can cause more wear on the gun with alot but your talking hundreds probably thousands of rounds to notice more wear than non +p ammo. So your good to go. Hope this helps.
