Claude, Beretta says this pistol has a Bruniton Steel Slide & Black Aluminum Alloy Frame which puts the weight at Weight 26.08 oz . Cheers and stay safe!

I've also seen ot listed as aluminum alloy but l can't any more specific (type) answer then that.

Frame material is aluminum alloy. Slides made of all steel, and checkered plastic grips. I own the Beretta m9a1 in 9mm and love it. But a 1911 is always a good choice to. I own the rock island armory version and great pistol. Hope this helps.
