Renee, this shotgun has a 3 inch Chamber and can fire the shorter 2 3/4 inch shells no worries. Same concept as a .357 Mag revolver being able to fire the shorter .38 Special cartridge. Cheers and stay safe!

yes it will be fine with 2.75 inch shells it will even work with the 1.75 inch mini shells but some guns will not reliably feed the Mini Shell
