What does s-s mean? Is this version ca legal?
Thomas, stainless steel, yes this is the CA complaint model, as indicated by CA at end of model number. It is on the CA DOJ roster of approved handguns.
S= stainless slide and yes it is a CA legal model
Thomas, it is CA approved and the S-S = Stainless Slide - Stainless Frame. The Inox Tomcat model has a stainless steel slide and barrel with an exceptionally corrosion-resistant and durable gray-anodized Stainless frame to match the color and finish of the stainless components. The trigger, hammer, safety, magazine and other metal parts are blued.
