What footprint is the red dot and are the sights co witness?
The footprint is a smooth surface and you have to register the serial # with Walther to get the plate you need, though it is free of charge.
This Pistol uses mounting plates, the
Punting plates are not included in the box, after you buy the pistol you use the form on Walthers website to order you free mounting plate ( only one is free, if you need additional plates you'll need to purchase them) walther did this to keep costs down, because most people only use one plate anyways.
As far as the irons they are not suppresor height sights but the PDP has Glocl dovetails so there are a ton of aftermarket sights available

Joseph, the PDP uses mounting plates for various footprints. You can request the 1st one free here : https://waltherarms.com/optic-plate-request/ --------- but will need to purchase the rest is needed. The current sights are lower 1/3rd co-witness but true co-witness Sights can be added. Cheers and stay safe!
