The slide is blued. If you Google the upc 753733102335 it'll show better pictures. Know the picture on buds makes it look very glossy but its not. Hope this helps.

Paul, it is standard blueing which is a matte black appearing finish. It is not as durable as the nitride finish on higher priced firearms. The Nickel Finish version would be preferable. Cheers and stay safe!
