M&p 9 shield suitable for the left-handed shooter?
Trevor, it is doable with just a little familiarization but not the best as it is not a a fully ambidextrous design as far as Safety and Slide Stop Release. Cheers and stay safe! Some interesting info here ; gunmann.com/left-handed-pistols/

This has a reversible magazine release, and a slide stop on both sides. The slide stop on the right hand side of the pistol doesn't really work as a slide release, but can be used to lock the slide to the rear, and you can release the slide by using the over the top sling shot method.
So yes this would work fine for a lefty.
