  • Steel or Alloy??

  • I never can get a true blue answer on this, every forum I’ve read are divided some saying steel and some saying alloy, EAA website is even iffy on the answer where they say available in steel or alloy frames but whenever you look on the owners manuals or gun descriptions it only states the finished and not the material.

  • Justin, I came across this in an EEA 2022 catalog -- "Windicator models in .38 Special are alloy frames and cannot be sold in Il, SC, WI, or other states and cities with frame melt laws." So it appears the .38 Special is alloy, and the .357 Mag is steel. At the bottom of EEA's web site, there is a link to the catalog. Have a great day!
