Hi-Point 995TS 16.5" Black All Weather Molded Stock 9mm Carbine
Is it classified as a rifle or so I need a handgun permit? Thx

Devon, this is classified as a rifle. If it has over a 16 inch barrel it is a rifle. Under a 16 inch barrel is a pistol. Then you also have a short barreled rifle Wich is a firearm with a barrel under 16 inches but has a stock instead of a pistol brace Wich requires a $200 tax stamp. Hope this helps.
