If I add a brace will I need a sbr tax stamp
Russell, no you will not. It's perfectly legal to add a pistol brace to this, no need for a tax stamp. Now a stock is a different story, a rifle stock makes it a sbr and requires a tax stamp. I'd recommend either the kak shockwave pistol brace, or a nicer but pricier option is the sba3 tactical brace. Hope this helps.
Russell, no Sir. It will still be classified as a Handgun/Pistol and not SBR. Cheers and stay safe!

Russell, you can add a brace and it will still be a pistol. If you add a stock, that's when it becomes a SBR. Have a great day!
