Is the grip safety supposed to rattle so much? I have another 1911 that it is nice and firm on, but on this one it is loose and rattles a lot.

Andrew, on the 1911s I've had it wiggles a little but not really bad. You can contact cimmaron at (1877-749-4861) to see if its normal for their 1911s or email them at ( repairs@cimarron-firearms.com ) hope this helps.
