Hi William, yes Sir it has a 3 inch chamber and can fire 3 inch or shorter shells. Same concept as a .357 Mag being able to fire the shorter .38 Special. Cheers and stay safe!

William, yes sir, this has a 3 inch chamber so you can safely fire 2-3/4 inch and 3 inch shells. Hope this helps.
