John, they are different models, as they have different model numbers. The one listed M605 (260535NS) is an outdated model, as it is no longer on Taurus' website, most likely replaced by the 605.( 260539NS) They have all the same exact specs. The only difference I can see is the color of the cylinder, other than that, they are the same.

John, they look pretty similar to me. Personally if none of use can find any difference I'd pick the cheapest option and call it a day. You can always contact Taurus at 229-235-4020 Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm for a more detailed answer. Hope this helps some.

Hi John and welcome. They are the same model. Some vendors list with 605 and some with M605. It just depends one who is doing the listing entry. Cheers and stay safe!
