  • I'm ready to purchase the GP 100, 4 inch barrel. I read all the reviews, and most were very positive. However, a few noted minor defects whic caused them to return the revolver for another one. I'm relatively inexperienced, and need to know what to look for before I accept the firearm at the FFL.

  • Hi Roger and welcome. You should check the timing (by checking that there are no hangs or difficulty in cylinder rotation in both double action and single action mode)(should be smooth through out the motion). Also check that the front sight is straight and not canted. Cheers and stay safe!
