BudsGunShop.com - 5.56 NATO

I see some places say only 5.56 NATO on these AR15 style semi auto rifles and others say both 5.56 NATO and 223 Remington.. This listing strikes me a little odd that it is listed as 223 Remington first then 5.56 NATO rounds... To me I would say it is ok to definitely shoot 5.56 NATO rounds out of this, but again it is just odd to see the 223 Remington stated first.. Maybe I'm just funny like that but can someone confirm that it is perfectly ok to shoot 5.56 NATO out of this gun?

Kevin, yes sir, this is chambered in 5.56 NATO. So it's perfectly safe to fire both 223 rem and 5.56. the model number of this is "ATIGOMX556ML13P3", the 556 in the middle refers to it's chambering. Perfectly safe to fire 223 in a firearm chambered in 5.56, you just can't shoot 5.56 out of a firearm chambered in 223 because 5.56 has a higher chamber pressure. Hope this helps.
