This model 15-22 is not but the one below is. See what the differences are.

Hi Joseph and welcome. Unfortunately, no Sir. This has a detachable magazine, telescoping stock and flash hider. It would be legal if the magazine was fixed being a rimfire. Details under Rifles here : budsgunshop.com/feeds/state_reg/maryland_restrictions.pdf
Hi Joseph, yes sir, this is MD compliant.

Joseph, this is MD legal. The detachable magazine, telescoping stock and flash hider are not prohibited.
It even states on the S&W web site that this is MD compliant.
The following are prohibited:
✘ Rifles with a capacity over 10 rounds.
✘ Semi-automatic rifles with a detachable magazine and have any TWO of the following
features:
1. Folding stock (Not including telescoping [collapsible] stock)
2. Grenade launcher or flare launcher
3. Flash suppressor
.
This does not have 2 of the 3 features listed above, it only has the flash hider, therefore it is MD legal.
