• Q: If you’re applying this stock to an MCX with a 16” barrel your don’t need approved paperwork and a tax stamp applied, correct?
  I assume if I remove the 16” barrel and swap the same MCX out with a shorter barrel I would... does anyone know the exact limits and sizes required for SBR stamping and where that can be found on the Federal site?

  Harold, you are correct. A minimum of a 16" Barrel requires no Tax Stamp or NFA Registration with this stock. Any barrel less than 16" with this or any other Shoulder Stock would require the $200 Tax Stamp and NFA Registration as an SBR.
