Heather - The Loaded Operator comes in a hard plastic case, with two 8 round mags, lock, manual, bore brush, warranty paperwork, and chamber flag. Also you get a pretty neat little range bag ... but most important, you get one of the best shooting, best looking, most reliable 1911s made today. These guns are top-of-the-line production 1911s, and will bring you many, many hours of pure shooting pleasure on the range. You'd have to step up to a Dan Wesson Specialist to do any better, without going to a full semi-custom 1911. These are just great.

Heather - you will need the "Government" or "Full Size" grips. There is no "standard" 1911 grip, and that term confuses people. There are "Government/Full Size; Commander/compact: Officer; Those will be the choices from which you will need to select your grips. Hogue Grips and VZ Grips re two of the biggest grip producers for 1911s, and both are quality products. But don;t look for 'standard' size. You need "Government" or "Full Size"
