I'm a fellow NY'r and there's more to buying an AR here in NY than just the 10 round mag cap. This rifle has a Flash hider "Feature" which is not allowed. Also, the magazine would need to be fixed into the lower so it can't be removed. Bud's will not send out a Non-compliant Firearm for your FFL to remedy and make compliant. I’ve been doing some research and is indicating that after maybe two mags that the hand guard gets very hot may have to use gloves? I know this does not happen on my other AR that I have however, I’m very interested in this.

Zach, Bud's will not ship this gun to WA, it is prohibited. The pistol grip, adjustable stock, threaded barrel, muzzle device, and barrel shroud are all prohibited in WA. The magazine isn't what will prevent this from being shipped to WA state. You would need a "Featureless" model. No pistol grip No adjustable stock No threaded barrel No muzzle flash Hider Yeah, it's a bummer, sorry... So, if you find one that is WA compliant Bud's would remove the higher capacity mags not Legal for your state.

I shoot left handed. Most guns this is a rare problem. The semi auto Sig Sauer M400 might be a different animal. Some might say just buy a LH gun. I am getting way up in age. It will be his gun soon but he shoots RH. My solution may be this. Buy a good pair of googles and hope I have time to out them on.

Mark, this will be fine for both left and right handed shooters. This has ambidextrous controls. So as long as the gas is set properly it'll throw the spent casing out at the 3:30-4 o'clock position. So a left handed shooter won't have any problem with this rifle. Hope this helps.

Doug, yes, buds will remove the magazine but won't replace it. During checkout buds will have an option to remove the magazine. You will have to purchase a state compliant magazine separately to use the firearm though. Hope this helps.

This would be shipped without a magazine if it doesn't come with a 10 round magazine. Bud's won't replace higher capacity magazines with your states required limited capacity magazines.

No, sorry this is not Maryland legal. I use to live in Maryland I know it sounds stupid but if the rifle has a heavy barrel it's exempt from all the other stupid laws, you just can't have a pencil barrel or government profile barrel. Sorry and hope this helps.
