Just like all my other Rugers this gun has the fit and feel that makes it a pleasure to own. I love it so much I had to buy its little compact brother. After all can you ever have too many guns.

Shipping took about ten days. I knew that there would be a extended shipping period because it was a Cherokee finish which is a custom order. Like always Buds informed me of everything going on with my order. From processing through delivery i got email updates. ( you can also follow on your account) This is the fourth gun I’ve ordered from buds like always everything was smooth. Fast forward to yesterday I finally got a chance to shoot it. Out of 200 rounds i had one failure to eject the spent casing. This was within the first 20 shots. NOTE: this isn’t uncommon while a semi in particular is in the break in peirod. A semi isn’t considered broken in until you have 250-500 rounds down range. So if you buy a new gun expect to have failure to eject, stove pipes, misfires, ect.. while the weapon is in its break in period. Overall it is a smooth firing and accurate pistol right out of the box.

I enjoy the pistol, it works good for the money. Few things to note however, the slide stop is just that, a slide stop, not a slide release. If you are expecting this gun to run like most others in that department then you will be disappointed as you have to pull back on the slide to release it. It is possible to use the slide stop to do this but it is so stiff that you will never want to do it again. However, this gun is still great for the money and for first time pistol owners I think it's great. It looks way better than glock, it functions fine, and feels way better to grip as well. The takedown pin is also pretty easy, you just use the lip of your magazine to pop it open, but for first time takedown I would punch it out. Overall great pistol so far, and for the money you can't go wrong. I would only buy this at $300-$350.

I love this gun. I have a Glock 19 and love it as well, but the Ruger is a tad slimmer for carry with the same capacity. Shot 1000 rounds without any failures before I decided to carry it every day and I love it. In hindsight I would have preferred the one without the manual safety, but it’s actually really intuitive to take off safety and not easy to put on safety. Both things I prefer.
