Hornady Critical Defense 32ACP 60 GR Flex Tip Expanding 25rd box - Nickel Plated Brass Casing

This is one of the best bullets used to make one of the very best rounds available.

Picked up Hornady Critical Defense 32ACP 60 GR Flex Tip Expanding from Bud's for my little .32 to check function and was really pleased. Fed and extracted without issue, no failures to fire. Recoil control was no issue either even for such a tiny pistol. Residue is minimal after firing a full box checking function. I will buy more as necessary of this great cartridge.

I bought this to use in my Kel-Tec P-32s. I should have read more and thought more about it before I did. First, if using any 32, it's really better to use FMJ. Second, my P-32s are fussy, they need ammo that is loaded hot to cycle properly. Fiocchi FMJ works best for me. I'm sure this ammo is good, just not for my application. I keep Hornady Critical Defense 380 loaded in my Ruger LCPs, and love it. Their 22 magnum rounds shoot straighter out of my Heritage Barkeeps than anything else.

Does not cycle in my Seecamp 32 which is no surprise, given the conical shape of the bullet. However, it works great as a first round that is chambered prior to loading the magazine with hollow points.
