This fn 509 t handles better then any other in my collection. Poa vs poi shoots a bit low but could be my sight picture, not the best eyesight.
The trigger; was audibly grinding/ squeaking when new. Felt like no trigger I ever pulled but 200 rounds through it and it is getting better. Still feels a bit gritty but improving, don’t hear it squeaking through the pull any more.
Most important to me is how it points and it feels natural and I get on target faster then any other pistol I own.
The sight are great, I like the wings on sides of rear sight, I might not even put a red dot on it.
No failures so far. Mag springs are stiff so keep loading as many as you can till they soften up. I’m up to 21 rounds easily loaded in the 24 round mag. Next time at the range I bet I’ll get to 24.
Great shooter. I see value over most other striker fired pistols like a Glock because of all the extras;
Threaded barrel, suppressor heigh tritium sights, high cap mag (not magS any more I guess) plus I can see and feel the quality finish. So is it worth the price? Well……..I’m not looking back, and I’ll never get rid of my fn 509’t. It’s ready when my suppressor is ready.

Very impressive weapon, weight/balance is perfect; trigger pull is exceptional; large capacity magazine takes it to the next level in self defense; exactly what I expected and happy I made the purchase.

The gun is great. Awesome pistol. Only problem was when I received the firearm and went to rack it for the first time, a piece of the optics cover broke off. I assume it was shipping damage but was disappointing none the less. Otherwise great product, great service.

I'd been waiting for the 509 to be released in black. It was worth the wait. The picture makes it look almost "chalky", but in real life, it has the appearance you would expect. It has a nice deep black color in the rail and frame. It shoots great, the thread protector stays tight, and those 24 round magazines are a nice touch. As for the ordering process... standard BUDS. So, shipped fast, arrived in great shape, and not a bad price.
