Bergara Premier HMR Pro 6.5mm Creedmoor Bolt Action Rifle - Gray, 24" Barrel, 5+1 Rounds

First rifle I've bought and haven't had to change a thing on. Took it out of the box threw a vortex razor on it and started shooting .5-.25 groups. This is my favorite bolt gun.

I bought the regular HMR in 6.5 Creedmoor 3 years ago. It was an awesome rifle! I have shot 5 shot groups less than .28 inches at 100 yards, and I was grouping 8 inches at 1000 yards. I sold it to buy the Premier HMR Pro, which is $600 more. It is worth it if you want every possible bit of accuracy. The Trigger Tech Diamond trigger is insanely smooth, the action is so smooth you can hardly tell if it has picked up the round, and the accuracy is unbelievable! I shot a .191" 5 shot group last weekend using 140 grain Hornady ELD Match ammo. And that was with me shooting, not a professional shooter. I have had $3000 and $4000 rifles that could not do that. Buy one.

Very nice rifle, shot 1 MOA right out of the box using generic 6.5 Creedmoor ammo for break in. I have no doubt had I used factory rounds it would have produced half MOA or better during break in. Now the fun begins tailoring a load for this barrel and pushing for sub 1/4 MOA or less. Smooth as silk action and no problems. The only thing that could be better are the instructions for disassembling the bolt. The manual shows the old style bolt shroud with the disassembly hole. The new bolt shroud does not have this hole. You can figure out how to do it by searching YouTube, but it is difficult to find. Buy the rifle and shoot it. It will bring a smile to your face.
