Just received my Iver Johnson 1911A1 Copperhead. WOW! The gun is absolutely stunning. I want to wear it on the outside of my clothing just to show it off. I haven't fired it yet but the gun feels well made and balanced. I was expecting somewhat of a display piece after reading reviews online about Iver Johnson and how they are made in the Philippines with less than standard materials. But this gun just feels nice. I stripped it down already and found no gunked-up inner workings. Clean piece of weaponry. Can't wait to put a few hundred rounds downrange. Only issue is the gun case, very flimsy and just barely large enough to fit the gun.

Got my pistol a week ago, and it is very nice pistol. The finish is a little darker than the picture in Bud's ad. The slide is a good tight fit. Nice trigger pull. I shot a 6" group pattern at 75'. It shoots as good as my Colt Combat Elite. The only thing i did not like,was the small case it came in.
