Nosler M48 Libety .26 Nosler Bolt Action Rifle - 26" Barrel, 3 Rounds, Synthetic

This product is very well built and fits me like a glove. Smooth action, nice clean crisp trigger. All in all it felt great. I purchased this rifle well before a mule deer hunt I had coming up in Colorado. I used a set of talley rings and topped it with a ziess conquest HD5 5-25X50mm scope because eventually I wanted a long range rifle. After breaking this rifle in with the recommendation from nosler I still wasn't getting "groups" like it said I should be. I shot a few rounds and cleaned, I shot a handful of rounds and left it dirty, but I was still getting a group smaller than a pie plate. I was shooting the 142 gr accuboundLR. I finally pulled another ziess scope off a rifle and tried it on this one. I checked my rings for torque and lapped them as I had not done it before mounting the first scope. I was still getting horrible groups. I would even let it cool 10 minutes before I fired another round just trying something else. Finally after close to 5 boxes of ammo and 3 days before my hunt I gave up and called nosler and left a not so friendly message with them. Later that afternoon I received a phone call stating I had done everything they would have told me to do so fill out this form and return it to have it inspected. I did end up buying some 129Gr accuboundLr and the 140 gr accubonds to try and alls I can say is the 140grs did shoot better than the others but still no decent group. So now I wait, only sending my rifle off yesterday for them to call me and give me a verdict. Im leaving my product rating in the middle for now to see how nosler fixes my problem!
