Great gun. Feels great in hand, great build quality and smooth trigger. The description says does not come with interchangeable backstraps but that is incorrect, like all M2.0 pistols, it has 4 total backstraps with the medium one installed from the factory and to my hand feels the best out of all of them(which is why they probably put it on by default). This gun or the regular M2.0 with night sights would be my choice as a first line defensive pistol above anything else. Nothing else feels as good and shoots as good to me.

The accuracy is amazing! I love the fiber optic sights. They really jump out at you. I was very accurate my first several trips to the range. The sights came out of adjustment recently and I've had to get them fixed but that does not diminish my overall opinion of this product. Also, a special compliment to Buds for their service when I ordered it. There was a delay in shipping because the overall demand for firearms was extremely high when I ordered it in December of 2021. The staff at Buds kept me updated through out the process. I really appreciate a business that is honest and direct with its customers. I have done business with Buds since then and will continue to do so.

This was the M&P I was waiting for. I truly like the line, especially since the 2.0 upgrades. I have owned 1.0 full and (sub)compact sizes in 9mm and .45, all sold or traded for other projects. While most complain about the triggers on the older models, I didn't shoot them accurately, which might have been due to frame flex. The 2.0 series added a metal insert to the frame, improved the trigger, and added factory aggressive stippling. I first bought a compact (4" version) and absolutely loved it...so much so that I followed up with the 3.6" version. I like how they feel in hand and shoot them quite well...really well. I started eyeing the 5" but hesitated because I didn't really care for the FDE finish. A minor thing, I know, but if I'm spending the money, I want to get what I like.
S&W finally came out with this version and I had to get it and I'm not sorry I did. The fiber optic sights are bright in daylight and easy to pick up. The trigger is smoother on the Pro model, but not that noticable from the regular 2.0s imho. I love the increased sight radius and M&P reliability. Another keeper. Dunno if I'm going to pick up the subcompact version or the full size 4.25" versions, between my two Shields and these three variations, my needs are mostly filled. Wants are a different story.

I'm very happy with my purchase. My S&W2.09mm5inch Pro Series shoots great. I purchased it for tactical training and competition shooting. I read a lot of reviews and watched a lot of YouTube videos before making my purchase. Last week I put 350 rounds of brass and steel through it and it never missed a beat. My carry pistol is a M&P 9mm shield that has been extremely dependable (I've put 7000 rounds through it this year) so that was factored into another Smith and Wesson purchase. I was pretty accurate with my shield and with a 5" barrel on the 2.0 I'm extremely accurate now as you can imagine. If your looking for a dependable accurate fun to shoot full size pistol with very little recoil, I recommend you do your homework and don't overlook the S&W 9mm 2.0 5 Pro Series. Also, Buds did a great job of getting it to me in 3 days. Buds was the cheapest price I could find. I 100% satisfied with my purchase.

Very good gun for the money. Shipping from buds was prompt. Cleaning kit was nice. 6 O'clock hold from the factory. Does not like lower power factor ammo, however it run factory ammo from Federal, Winchester, Mag Tech, CCI, and S&B without issue.

Amazing firearm! Performance center trigger pull and reset is top notch! Firearm is well balanced and accurate. This is my third M&P 2.0 firearm. My duty weapon is the 1.0 .40 cal. S&W did an outstanding job with the 2.0 series. Well worth the money.
