Great gun! .40S&W might be unpopular but that is a good thing, lower prices for me and you. .40 out of a 5" barrel is nothing to sneeze at in terms of power. This M&P feels great in the hand as all M&P's do to most people. Can't go wrong.

Beautiful gun. Put 50 rounds through it today, Remington UMC 180 grain, no issues at all. Gun is extremely accurate. Trigger pull is amazing, it's soft and you can draw it almost all the way back, then to fire it's a fast hair trigger after that. Hits were right on target and slide action is silky smooth. First higher end gun I've owned and I was shooting really tight groups at 7 and 10 yards. Makes my Glock 45 9mm seem clunky and harder to shoot accurately. Recoil is not an issue, easy to get right back on target. Easier than my Glock. I love this gun, easily my favorite over my two 9mm's. Couple things I noticed, but need more time to figure out: -While the slide is closed, I couldn't get a fully loaded magazine inserted to the point of being "clicked-in"; not sure what the story is there yet. I did have to purchase 10 round S&W mags separately (can't do 15 round in my state), not sure if that affects it, probably not. -Sights are great but I'm wondering if they can get easily damaged since they're long and thin, and not really protected. Gonna go 4 starts right now, but happy with the purchase. This is a sweet gun.

I love the gun. it feels good, and grippy. I love 40SW and the caliber. I have heard there are concerns with the rear sight and i understand why. its a spring loaded hing and a simple screw that easy turns but under spring pressure it doesnt really turn, not sure about under recoil. I havent fired the gun yet. Ammo is tight right now and might be some time before I do. I had to drift one pin to flush on one side but the take down lever has a cut out for the pin, so kind of confusing. All and all I like it and want to take it to the range asap.

Super excited for new purchase of SW 40 Performance trim….I have the same in 9mm and I really like the precision and zero recoil.
I am confused why it was approximate 9 days from payment to ship date to my designated and listed FFL.
Other than Gap in purchase to ship date BUDS is By Far the best site that I have been too and Eric’s Armory in Sandy, OR referred me thanks Julie and Eric at Eric’s Armory.

This is a very nice pistol. I own a couple M&P compact pistols but I like the M2.0 feels in my hand. Maybe it's due to a bigger grip and my big hands. The sights are a nice upgrade and adjustable. Haven't taken it out to the range yet and not sure when I'll have time so I'll try to remember to do an update later.

From time of purchase and when the firearm is shipped they communicate with you every step. Thank you BUD's. Now, the MP40 2.0, Performance Center Pro series is an excellent full size pistol. This gun is not for Conceal carry or for home defense, but for range use in my application. I already have an MP2.0C but in 9mm, the grip, ergos and the trigger feel awesome in my hands. I know for some, even the improved 2.0 curved trigger is an issue and lots of owners of MP2.0 pistols, change out they're default curved trigger for an apex flat trigger. For me, no issues. I wanted the versatility to shoot 9mm in this pistol, so I did purchase apex tactical 9mm barrel for 5" full size MP40 2.0. The barrel was not drop in, it was semi drop in, but it was not difficult to remove and file off a few small bits off the barrel. Now, after a few modifications the barrel fit's perfect and Shoots awesome.
500 rounds of 9mm and 500 rounds of fawty have been sent through this pistol and 9mm had no issues. However, after some testing with fawty, this gun does NOT LIKE under power 165g 40sw ammo. Just not enough Ummmpppphh to send the slide back. In my pistol, I was gettng Fail To Feed with under power 165g ammo. Ok, no problem, I put full power 180g fawty ammo in and rain smooth like butter. i was destroying steel plates at 10 yards with the greatest of ease. Like an overly attached girlfriend, just cling cling cling. Thank you again Bud's. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Great Pistol, It was a pro series which came from the custom shop with optic site's and cleaning kit from Smith & Wesson. Also was a BUDS Team member selection.
Presently supprised. This gun is a great shooter.
This gun was hard to find at my Local gun store, but was no Issue for Buds. Gun came in on time and as usual great service from Buds
