Excellent rifle! It likes high end factory ammo like Hornady, Federal and Winchester ammo (1” MOA). Feel, fit and function is what you get from high end rifles. Enough said about this rifle.

I bought this rifle not expecting much. Buds did good and got it to me very quick. It took me a while to get the time to take it to the lease and set it up to shoot it.
I topped it off with a Bushnell 4.5x14 the was calibrated for a 6.5 creedmoor. First four or five rounds were crazy off the chart. Cleaned the barrel and tried one more time and got it at less then an inch at one hundred yards. Backing off to two hundred yards and tried just for grins and giggles not expecting much but was I surprised. Three shot group at two hundred yards was still sub MOA. Now for a budget rifle that’s very impressive.
If your looking for a budget rifle that won’t break the bank this is for you. With the muzzle brake, scope and rifle got less then $800 in it. Don’t fudge on ammo and buy the good stuff you won’t be disappointed. With the muzzle break and the right optics you will have no problem pulling off sub MOA at two Hundred yards or maybe more. Worth the money and time spent to set it up. Buy it you won’t be sorry if you can get it .

Fantastic product and a superb price. The craftsmanship on this rifle is absolutely outstanding. Of course, Buds did not disappoint with great price and superb delivery. I highly recommend.

Outstanding for a $400 rifle. Bolt was EXTREMELY hard to open at first but is easing up fast. I bought it for a farm rifle for critters up to 200-300 yds. I sighted in at 100 and it gave tight 1 hole, 5 shot groups from the get go. I usually only shoot longer range with my Ruger Precision where 1000yds is a no brainer. Just for fun, I thought I'd try this one out. 300, 400, 500 right out to 800yds it was a first shot hit on steel. Beyond that the cheap 9 power scope was letting me down (ok my old eyes were letting me down!) but I have no doubt with a better scope, 1000yds would be no problem. Trigger on mine was quite crisp and breaking around 3lbs I think (not measured it yet) My RPR is a 1lb trigger but this is T/C is very acceptable. I have to admit that hitting steel out to 800yds 1 st shot put a huge grin on my face, I really didn't expect that from such a budget rifle. Apart from the ridiculously hard to lift bolt, I am over the moon with this rifle.

Don't be fooled by the price...this rifle is extremely accurate! I've put about 25 rounds through it at this point, but I was shooting 3 bullet groupings almost through the same hole at 100 yards. My only two callouts are that the trigger may take a little getting used to by some folks (very sensitive in my opinion) and that the bolt is a little sluggish when ejecting and loading a new round. I've read that this is a known issue but that breaking in and oiling the gun helps correct this issue. Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase. Can't wait to take this out for deer season!

ceramic exterior "Weathershield" coating that fits TC Encore and Pro Hunter frames. Many shooters prefer the metallurgical characteristics of chromoly (blue) steel to stainless steel. Weathershield barrels combine exterior rust protection with a chromoly rifle bore... The best of both worlds.
According to TC Arms sight the new Weathershield coating on its barrels and frames is 50 times more corrosion resistant than stainless steel.
According to TC customer service underneath the weather shield it is the same barrel as a blued barrel with the coating applied. And judging from the prices it must be a less expensive application for TC because WS prices are lower.
