Are there higher capacity mags for it and if so what one would work

Frank, yes this will fire 2 3/4" or 3" shells, and yes the same magazine will hold either shell.

No. California prohibits Semi-automatic shotguns that can accept a detachable magazine. You can have a pump shotgun that takes a detachable magazine, or a semi auto with a tube mag, but not a semi auto with a box mag. At least Trin watched the video he linked to that and or looked up the firearm, James is incorrect it says in the 1st two minutes of the video "comes with 2-5rd magazines and 1-2rd magazine, and if you google the upc it confirms this, also comes with a single point sling, and a choke kit. Pretty cool how the magazines attach to the bottom of the handguard. I could only find the same video review these 2 posted ha talks about lander arms ar12 in the 1st 2 minutes doesnt shoot it until 4minute 07 second mark, shoots it for about 2 minutes there's of the video is shooting a sig target P226, a Springfield Hellcat, and an 870 pump shotgun knock off, and some driving in the snow.
