I always saw this gun and didn't know if it would be worth the price. I knew CZ made a good gun. I just didn't realize how good! Once I grabbed this gun you can feel the quality! Texture is great on the grip, super easy to hold on. So little recoil compared to other guns in the class. The trigger is excellent at about 2.5-3lbs of a pull. Over all, this a fantastic gun and I can't believe I waited so long to actually buy it! Do yourself a favor and add it to your collections!

Amazing! When deciding to buy a Shadow 2, I decided to get the optic-ready model as I am accustomed to using red dot optics. So I liked that they offered the Optic Ready model. I hadn't mounted the optic yet still deciding on optics. Amazingly accurate gun, right out of the box. The weight keeps recoil to a minimum and it settles right back on target. browsing the online availability of this model and it's hard to find in stock. Glad I made the purchase of this model. when you see it in stock! JUST DO IT! you will be satisfied and others will be envious of the range when they see your optic-ready CZ2 and great for your collection.

Absolutely phenomenal pistol. Best trigger ever. I am reviewing, more than 1 year after purchase. This pistol is my go to for competition and what I train with as my combat pistol… should the need arise (God Forbid) Get one! Pairs great with and SRO

The CZ Shadow 2 is a great gun! It is heavy; the tungsten, mixed with the gun being all metal really is a different beast than those who typically deal with polymer guns...but it is more stable. The scope plates (specifically the RMR) can be difficult if you are getting them from CZ, as they are typically out of stock, but that is more assessories rather than the gun. The other great thing is the grip; if you put anytime of pressure on the handle it will leave evidence of having help it on your palms and fingers...which is a good thing. I really only have one complaint, which is due to having small hands; the trigger when in double action is a bit too far away for my hands. Perhaps if I'd known that, I may have opted for the single action only version.
