What can I say, you can't beat a Remington 870 for reliability and accuracy….. Love it!

This is the best turkey gun I have ever owned. I have had one for many years and my son has been borrowing it every spring so I purchased this one for him. I have found the gun to work flawlessly while offering the best turkey load patterns of any gun I have ever used. I highly recommend this gun for any serious turkey hunter.

I’ve been a fan of the 870 for many years. This is a hard hitting turkey gun. Light weight, excellent balance and a natural feel when aiming.

This is a great shotgun for this price range. Pump action is just as smooth as any Wingmaster I have had. Chambers any length of shell easily. Initial quality is good. The only plastic components are the trigger guard and composite stock. Gun feels light and well balanced. I like the Truglo adjustable sights. The design of the stock is comfortable and easy to hold tight to the shoulder. Only time will tell long term durability but I don't see any drop in quality over my old Remingtons.

Exceptional shotgun and speedy delivery

I have been a shooter and hunter for many decades. I own a multitude of guns, handguns, rifles and shotguns. Growing up I used my grandfather's Remington on my very first hunting trip. THIS GUN is not that gun. This is without a doubt the WORST shotgun I have ever fired. It will not chamber properly, jams on every second shot and is most difficult and unsafe to dislodge the shells. While I did take a turkey with it this season, I only shot once otherwise there would be no turkey. This is essentially a single shot shotgun that is dangerous and a total waste of money. Most of the parts on the gun are plastic and the workmanship and dependability are obviously without compare. I have a cheaper Mossberg that puts this Remington trash to shame. My suggestion to anyone considering this; YES buy from Bud's (whom I have no problem with) but do not buy this gun, the Remington SPS Turkey. My gunsmith says there is little to nothing he can do due to the quality of the parts involved and he informed me he has seen at least half a dozen clients with the same issues with the same gun. Who would have fought Remington could stoop to this level of development? Wow. Again, stay away from this purchase or you will be as sorry as I am, TO CLARIFY, nothing against Bud's, but LOTS against Remington. If a gun ever needed to be recalled, this is one. While I am sure they make good guns (I actually own a couple) this is the last purchase I will every make from this manufacturer. But if you still want to by one, I have one for sale. How about two dollars? It will make a great door stop.

Got the shotgun in perfect shape and within 6 days of placing my order.My 870 patterned very good with a wide variety of turkey shells I had on hand,I used "3 inch and "3 1/2 inch mainly.I settled on the Winchester Longbeard #5 "3 1/2 inch shells and cant wait to smash my next gobbler with it.Very happy with my purchase,gun is great,buds did a great job keeping me informed of every step of the shipping progress and it came in quick!!
