Built in line with all Henry lever actions, you can count on a smooth, quiet and reliable action. The Henry Big Boy Steel features a 20" round barrel that will deliver accuracy and is topped with a fully adjustable rear sight with white diamond insert and a beaded front sight. The receiver is matte finish and comes drilled and tapped for easy scope mounting using Henry's BB-RSM receiver scope mount. The checkered all-weather American walnut stock comes with a sturdy and impact resistant recoil pad.

First let me say Wow!!! I did not expect this cartridge to have so much zip, especially out of a rifle. It's my first experience with the .327 Federal Magnum. As usual, Buds Guns Shop was excellent as far as customer service. The rifle's action is butter smooth as one has come to expect from a Henry. I think that the .327 Federal Magnum out of a rifle has comparable ballistics to a .30 carbine out of a rifle. There seems to be more versatility in the projectile weight of of 327 mag than a .30 carbine. The 327 Federal Magnum out of this lever gun makes a more than adequate home/property defense weapon being that the projectiles are typically soft point, lead flat nose or hollow point so over penetration isn't as problematic. This would also be good rig for varmints at 100-125 yards as well as medium game like white tail deer or hogs around 150-175 lbs or less. The only catch is that .327 Federal Magnum is not offer by lot of ammo manufacturers. I guess this gives me a good reason to get into handloading.

What can I say? I have been after a lever action in 327 magnum for 10 years. So just being able to finally makes me happy. But as far as the gun goes. Pretty darn good. I was concerned that it may have trouble feeding the shorter 32's. That is not a problem. It feeds, fires and ejects. 32L, 32mag and the 327's just fine. Makes the perfect companion for my Ruger single 7 in 327 magnum. Purchased using the 90 day lay a way. Went smooth Very happy!!

This is one I have been waiting for! I was wanting a 327 rifle in the worst way. This is my first Henry, but it will not be my last. The fit and finish of wood and metal is great. This is a 10 + 1 capacity in spite of what Buds description says. I have fired a box of 100gr American Eagles through it. It ran fine with no problems of any kind. If you have been wanting one of these, do not hesitate.
