Nice well built rifle. Perfect for youth or small hunters. Grouped hornady precision hunter ELDX cartridges with in a dime at 100 yards.
My teenage son likes it and he is a little recoil shy. He shot it well. I killed a couple nice deer with it. I like how short it is compared to my magnum. Cracked the shim on the butt tighting to tight.So I called weatherby they sent me a new one in a couple days. Great customer service.

I purchased this gun for my son for upcoming deer season. We finally got a chance to sight it in and couldn't be more pleased. 3 shot groups touching at 100 yds. For the money, you can't beat a weatherby vanguard. Bud's service was fast and professional as always. I would highly recommend this gun to anyone looking for a good youth rifle.
