The CZ 75 SP-01 Phantom is a full size handgun that features the improved
manufacturing technology and ergonomics. Included is an integral 1913
accessory rail on the dust cover, rubber grip panels with interchangeable
backstraps, and CZ's corrosion resistant black polycoat finish. The grip
geometry, checkering in key areas on the front and back straps,
and redistribution of mass provided by the accessory rail noticeably
decrease the perceived recoil and allows for more rapid target acquisition

Absolutely love this gun! Have had it for a couple of years now, haven't had the first problem. Accurate, dependable, and looks awesome.

I had this gun for a while now and thought I'd chime in. Don't think, just buy. This is the most fun and accurate polymer gun I own. I ended up giving it the 'Cajun' treatment as well, but you can't go wrong with a CZ.

Amazing pistol. DA/SA with a decocker. Used by the Czech tank crews... apparently why it was unavailable for a few years IOT fulfill contracts. I have put 1000 rounds through without one issue using whatever rounds I can find for sale: 115, 124, 147 in NATO, +p, and standard pressures with HP, JHP, etc. A tank of a gun, without the weight. I honestly love the trigger, spend the money on ammo, not on a feather trigger. Ruined, in one word. Will never get a 9mm pistol in any class (sub, comp, full) that isn't a CZ.

Our 1st gun and it came highly recommended...We wanted something with a little punch but that would not overpower my wife and we are both pleased with its performance...

Got to add this one to your CZ collection. Typical CZ ergonomics in the hand greektown. A little heavy to carry but I'm using it as home defense weapon. You got to add this CZ unicorn to your collection

bought one of these for my son, in Marine boot camp. had it engraved with his name, date and Marine EGA. it shot so well I bought a second for his brother. the two pistols were so good I next bought a third for my wife, as a bedside gun to complement the LCP II that she uses for CC. the large mag capacity and long term performance history of the CA-75 convinced me this would make a good home defense pistol. we are a Walther family in general, with 2 P99, 1 PK380 and 4 P22s, all of which we like and have used for 15 years, and we still enjoy shooting the Walthers, but those 3 CZs are also very well made and fun to shoot. As usual, Bud's service was great.

Received my C75 SP01 Phantom in a timely matter from Buds and was happy with the service, now onto what this handgun is and was like when I took it to the range. It is a very well made handgun with careful attention to details, fit and finish were great. This monster looks like a big paperweight until you pick it up and have it in your hands and then it just seems to lay there like it was made for you, felt felt great to have a full size gun in your hand that fit. Accuracy was unbelievable, i did not try to adjust the sights at all just shoot it the way it is and used mainly 124 grain ammo with a bit of 115 grain which i am not really fond of but then you dont know till you try it. I wish I could post a picture because my very first 18 rounds out of the CZ were dead on and all were in a five inch circle target and the group measured a bit over two inches center to center. The rest were all around three inches and the 115 grain loads of course printed low and left on the target which i was still happy with. Will I keep it , Am I happy with it, Will I recommend it, well the answer is sure to all three. If you want a nice 9mm range gun and don't mind a full size frame this is for you. If it wasn't for the price at buds I may not have bought it from them but they had the best price as most of theirs are and they got the nod, thanks go out to Buds.

In the past I owned a version of this same handgun, but in a steel frame and used .40cal ammo. I loved the all steel version almost as much as I'm starting to love this poly frame type. The only complaint I have is the trigger seems to stick almost as if you used the decocker partway through emptying a magazine. I'm hoping that this issue will go away in the next two to three trips to the range. I have cleaned it up and put lubricant in the vital areas in hopes that it was just a little bit of brand new-itis. Overall it's a straight shooter. The action is very smooth and I feel the balance is great. Sights could be a lot better. My SP-01 tactical had way better sights, but I attached a little green laser to this phantom and got nice grouping with and without the cheat beam. Love CZ handguns and will likely be purchasing a new steel frame one in 9mm from buds for sure

Came in as expected from the reviews I have seen about Buds guns. Everything looked perfect from the gun to the case it comes in. After the initial cleaning we took it to the range today, and put about 250 rounds through it. Everything ran flawlessly. No FTF, FTE, no stovepipes. This one was accurate right out of the box. It made me look like a good shot. We were short loading the magazines with only 10 rounds, and at 25 yards it was no problem to put them all in a 3 inch target. Recoil is minimal, so getting back on target is nothing. The grip angle puts the sight in line almost automatically for me so all I have to do is move them on target, and try to squeeze out a round without pulling the gun off target. The trigger is nice which helps keep the point of aim long enough to set off a primer. CZ did this one right, and Bud's got it to me at price that would have been hard to beat. I almost want to buy another one for my left side, and if I do I will get it at Buds.

A:Jennifer, This a great deal on a great firearm. The more expensive Phantoms have additional accessories or are the 10 round capacity models that cost more because certain states require that feature. This is current stock and a great deal.See 1 more answer | -

A:Joe, Night Sights are the same between the two. The SP 01 Tactical will be the most accurate of the two due to less muzzle rise due to weight providing slightly quicker followup shots. This difference will be less pronounced with practice but will still be inherent to some degree in the heavier pistol.See 2 more answers | -

A:The Phantom has the 75 trigger system, is much easier to shoot and will last longer (basically an SP-01 Tactical with a polymer lower). It's the current sidearm of the Czech Army now.See 5 more answers | - Show More Questions
