I really enjoyed this weapon. Right out of the box, it was flawless 250 rounds of PMC FMJ with no issues. Would recommend.

Lucky I was one of the blessed ones to get one. I used to carry a 92fs, Kimber, CZ-75 P-01, Glock's, etc. Bottom line this is the best everyday carry that I don't mind beating up at this pricesl point that sold at minimun 250 dollars less than what it should it be. Where else at this price point can you find an all steel pistol, high capacity, steel 3-dot sights, two mags, that the rail comes off eaiser than a Beretta? Tell me... 5 Stars period!

Pistol came clean, semi oiled and partially greased in some places. It is a "little" rough" but its a $300 Serbian pistol. The frame and coating on the frame is stellar. The finish of the slide is nothing to write home about, but it can always be painted or blued. This is a VERY accurate pistol, I cant stress that enough. I was as good with this new CZ999 as I am with my 1911's, which are more accurate than I am. The controls are a little stiff at first, as was slide reassembly. After 2-50rnd boxes it became a little more loose.. Still tight, but not "brand new" tight. The ONLY downside to this pistol is the magazine release design. Its how it operates thats the only downside of this pistol. As you push in the mag release lever rotates, this causes the heavier used side to stick in, BUT allowing for a more pronounced "weak side" magazine release button.. So I usually switch back and forth.. I feel like perhaps it too will loosen up and perhaps not stick like it sort of does now. Lastly, the mags, while you can ourchase the proprietary mags (CZ99, EZ9 and CZ999) you can also use beretta 92 mags by punching a small hole down the front spine (where the CZ999 mag release paddle fits in) so not all hope is lost if dedicated CZ999 mag supplies dry up. All in all this is a GREAT pistol for the money. Im 200 rounds into it and I love it.. Buy with confidence. ZA_Survivalist.

First of all, excellent customer service from Bud's! This is the 4th firearm I've ordered from them. Ordered on a Friday afternoon. I paid with a money order to get the cash discount and mailed it the same day. The Bud's website showed payment received on the following Monday. I got a call from my FFL on Wednesday saying it had arrived. Everything functioned properly when I picked it up The pistol arrived in a white cardboard box. It included the manual, a brush, and one spare magazine. I cleaned it throughly even though there was only a small amount of oil on the pistol. Takedown and reassembly were pretty simple. The barrel is chromed inside and out. At the range, I fired 120 rounds through it (50 TulaAmmo FMJ 115 gr. steel case, 50 Monarch FMJ brass case, and 20 Winchester FMJ brass case) It ran flawlessly with the Tula and Monarch. On my third round of Winchester it failed to eject. I dropped the magazine and cycled the action again and the spent case ejected. One FTE in the first 100 rounds isn't too bad. I hope that as I break it in more, I have fewer instances. At 7 yards, I would estimate that about 2/3 of my shots were in a 3 inch group. I attribute the poor performance to operator headspace and timing. I need more practice! Other things I noticed with this gun. The pistol is solid and fits well in my hands. It feels very natural. The ambidextrous magazine release is very stiff. The magazine drops freely. The Double action trigger pull is long but smooth. I did have one bad flyer when firing DA. Single action trigger pull is light and crisp, 5-6 lbs. While at the range I did several tests with the decocker while I had a round in the chamber. It worked flawlessly. It always freaks me out to see the hammer drop like that with a round in the chamber, but it worked as advertised. The ambidextrous slide stop lever and decocker are integrated into one lever. What I noticed with this arrangement is that with the slide locked to the rear and a new magazine loaded, if I used the slide stop lever to release the slide and load a round, the pistol would decock about half the time. Perhaps this is due to the integrated lever. I contacted a fellow at Century about this. His response was that the pistol shouldn't necessarily decock when the slide is released. Perhaps mine is sensitive. He didn't offer to have it looked at or serviced. Releasing the slide with the support hand did not result in the pistol decocking itself. Despite this, I am happy with this purchase. $300 delivered to my FFL and excellent customer service from Bud's.

Very well made, and very accurate. Took it to the range with a Walther PPQ and a CZ P01, and it outshot them both. Did not have any problem removing the slide for cleaning as previous reviever. Very similar to a Sig P226, which I also have. Nice gun.

The pistol is heavy it's all metal, the decockers on the sides are a little tough. The trigger after decocking requires maybe 13-20lbs of pressure.my slide got jammed a little so make sure you pull all the way back. Also to take the slide off, you have to play with it to understand how it comes off and slide back on.
