Windham Weaponry is known for producing high quality modern sporting rifles. This AR-15 features a 16" barrel and a flat top upper receiver that is ready for installation of the optics of your choice. It has a six position Windham stock and A2 style flash hider. The receivers are constructed from 7075-T6 aluminum and were hard coat anodized prior to application of the Muddy Girl finish. I bought two of these (one in matte black) this one for my daughter. I have a lot of AR style rifles. Colt, Smith & Wesson, Bushmaster, DPMS, Rock River, Daniel Defense, BCM, and this Windham. It's not quite as good as the DD or BCM, but it beats out the rest (the BCM is best, but cost twice as much.) It's accurate (I topped it with Troy Battle Sights and an Aimpoint PRO), the finish is exquisite, has a good trigger, and is well machined. Over the past year I've put approx 2,000 rounds through it, mostly "green tip", and have never had a failure to feed or extract, jam or any other mishap. At just over $800 you can't beat it, as it out performs many rifles that cost hundreds of dollars more.

I bought this for my wife as an anniversary gift in late October 2017. She has only put about 200 rounds through it but it fired every time with no issues. I fired it myself aswell and think it's well worth the price paid. It's a solid very well built rifle by the original Bushmaster company with out the bigger price.

Buds was totally awesome! I bought this rifle on December the 19th and it arrived on December 24th and I had it that same day. (It wasn't even guaranteed to be under the Christmas tree, but it came in time for Christmas). The rifle itself is top quality and the Muddy Girl finish is outstanding. My Fiancée loves her new rifle and it is very accurate. No issues with Buds Gunshop or Windham Weaponry. I will definitely buy from Buds again and I have no problems buying Windham Weaponry again either. Top Notch!
